It’s an ancient cult with many manifestations. The Soviets had their version, the Khmer Rouge had their version, the Racist Confederates have theirs. Since it seems to be so cyclical, and the only opposition seems to be some form of enlightenment then I guess those are the people who have to learn how to gather without violence. What is it even mean anymore to be a progressive when so many of them also watched the annihilation in Palestine in comfort and complacency.
